Yuri Mansur Babylotte

The Career of Mansur’s Babylotte Comes to an End…

The Brazilian show jumper Yuri Mansur, one of the prominent clients of Schelstraete Law Firm, has on social media officially announced the early retirement of his 14-year old mare, Babylotte, due to a tendon injury!

After struggling for over two years from her tendon injury, the mare seemed to be ready for her comeback at the highest level. Hence, she participated in international competitions and once again she was qualified in GP. However, it seemed that the mare did not recover from her tendon injury.

Babylotte’s last competition was in Lier, Belgium, where Yuri Mansur and the daughter of Dollar du Murier participated at the CSI3 competition. Babylotte jumped so beautifully but left the ring with so much pain. According to Mansur “The worst has happened which is an injury in the same tendon!… Because her injury keeps coming back, we have decided to let Babylotte enjoy an early retirement.”

Dreams Realized

“I would like first of all to thank this friend who accompanied me for five years and ignored all her limits to help me realize my dreams!

Thanks to her, if my career ended today, I would already be very accomplished! Thanks Baby, for Hickstead, Calgary and all the 10 rankings in 5 *GPS. Being between the best 12th ranked horses in the world, but mainly, for doing everyday of those last five years, HAPPIER DAYS, for teaching me so much and for showing that dreams come true!”.
